Paul Williams

Paul S. Williams

David J. Brown Family Associate Professor of Marketplace Theology and Leadership;

Paul Williams was appointed the second incumbent of the David J. Brown Family Chair of Marketplace Theology and Leadership in August 2005. He is also a Director and Economic Advisor to DTZ Holdings, an international real estate consulting and investment banking group headquartered in London, UK. Paul trained as an economist and worked in economic consulting for several years before undertaking theological training at Regent and then returned to the marketplace, working as an economic advisor for major international corporations and government agencies. In his most recent role as Chief Economist and Head of International Research for DTZ, his key clients included JP Morgan, MetLife, Pirelli, Prudential, GE Capital, the Government of Estonia and the Spanish Social Security Agency. Paul has written numerous articles on Christian faith and the marketplace. His research interests include capitalism and globalization, the theology of public discipleship, marketplace mission and workplace spirituality.

Rikk E. Watts

Associate Professor, New Testament

Initially trained as an aeronautical engineer, Rikk Watts worked for a number of years with IBM in large retail systems engineering while undertaking a degree in Philosophy, Art History and Sociology. He later joined a para-church organization engaged in Christian awareness projects in public schools and in providing crisis accommodation and various rehabilitation programs for the urban poor. He was a founding member of On Being, a major Australian Christian magazine, and supported himself and his family as a professional drummer. A popular lecturer and speaker, he is frequently engaged in churches, universities and camps around North and South America, England, Europe, Asia and Australia. Rikk has a strong passion for biblical teaching in both the Old Testament and the New Testament; and his seminal work Isaiah’s New Exodus in Mark was published in 2000.

Ricky Szeto

Ricky Szeto is a scholar-practitioner. As an active scholar, he teaches at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, consults for local and international organizations and enterprises on corporate strategy and organizational development, and has published over 30 research papers in reputable international journals and co-authored two textbooks in the areas of corporate risk management and corporate governance. He is also the Distinguished Researcher of the Institute of International Economics of Peking University. His major research interests include people management, leadership studies, corporate governance, organizational cultures & climates, and business ethics. Ricky is also a veteran businessperson and he is now serving as the Executive Director of Hung Fook Tong Holdings Ltd, one of the largest local beverages company in Southern China. He is currently the Chairman of HKPES.

Raymond Tam

Secretary to the Commission on Strategic Development, Central Policy Unit, HKSAR Government

Raymond Tam was appointed as an Administrative Officer of the Hong Kong Government in 1987. Since then, he was posted to various government bureaux and departments and has handled a range of policy areas including industrial development, trade negotiations, district administration, arts and culture and constitutional development etc. He also worked in the Private Office of the Chief Executive in 1997-98 and as the Press Secretary to the Financial Secretary in 2001-03. Raymond worked in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Geneva twice in 1991-94 and 1998-2001 respectively. During these periods, he represented Hong Kong in the multilateral trade negotiations conducted first under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and then the World Trade Organization (WTO). Raymond is currently the Secretary to the Commission on Strategic Development, a high-level consultative body responsible for advising the government on the long-term strategic development of Hong Kong.

Keith Wu

Chief Executive Officer, Henderson Sunlight Asset Management Ltd
B.S. (University of Toronto), M.S. (Stanford University), Dip CS (Regent College)

Majored in economics and operations research, Keith Wu returned to Hong Kong in 1987 and worked as an equity research analyst and asset manager in the first decade of his career. Between 1997-2005 he was an executive director of Lai Sun Development, a listed property company, where he was responsible for overseeing corporate finance related matters as well as playing a leading role in formulating an asset restructuring plan for the group. He took nine months off in August 2005 to pursue theological studies at Regent College, and returned to Hong Kong in April 2006 to serve as the CEO of Henderson Sunlight Asset Management Limited, the REIT manager of Sunlight REIT, the first office and retail REIT listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
